A runthrough of the Baron faction on Agricultural Society. I went with a large map this time so I could actually show the game to completion or defeat. Overall, the Baron faction is very straightforward. Get villages, hamlets, and mines. Use iron and gold to make crossbows, archers, and heavy infantry. Every year, get free spearmen and knights. Stomp everything with brute force.

The calvary commanders are usually in the frontlines so you do run the risk of losing them rather easily even in battles you can win with little issue. But, all main commanders have the ability to summon stationary militia in hamlets and villages. So they act as mini defenders against the random trash that wanders about the map.

They have no real magic options unless you get a library early on or a temple. So its mainly about numbers of quality troops.
