Traumatic bonding is a complicated subject because most families either do not know their relationship with their family member is a traumatic bond, or they know something is wrong but they cannot identify how their family could be different without the odd relationship. In other words, it isn't always easy to know when you are being abused. Traumatic bonding happens gradually and often in patterns that are intermittent or sporadic.
In this video, I will discuss the consequences of traumatic bonding including some of the signs and patterns you are likely to see.
