Console Fighting Games of 1998 - Kensei Sacred Fist
2A sole entry in the series Kensei Sacred Fist is a 3D fighting game similar to the Tekken series from Konami Computer Entertainment and released exclusively on the PlayStation in Japan and North America in 1998. A Europe release of the game came in 1999 with the UK having to wait until 2000.
Kensei Sacred Fist has your usual game modes on offer, Normal mode allows you to unlock hidden fighters with the game offering a 20-strong roster. Other modes include Versus Mode, Time Attack Mode, Survival Mode, Training Mode and Watch Mode. Additionally, once you have unlocked all hidden fighters in the game, an extra mode is unlocked called Extra Mode, this is a racing mini-game.
