Console Fighting Games of 1998 - Street Fighter Alpha 3
1Street Fighter Alpha 3 is the third entry in the Alpha series of Street Fighter Games and the last title in the Alpha series for 8 years until the PSP release of Street Fighter Alpha MAX a conversion of this title with an increased roster size and the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 sees a roster of 31 fighters to choose from, many returning and several new fighters including Karin Kanzuki, Rainbow Mika and Cody from Final Fight.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 was released in 1998 in Arcades with a PlayStation release in Japan at the end of 1998 and a US release in 1999. The same year the Sega Saturn would see a release of the game and a year after that a port to the Dreamcast would be released.
