19Gaming is nuts right now. We have two Xbox Series, two Playstations, three switches, and an insane number of PC setups. And we can BARELY buy any of them.
So let's look at how everything shakes out with the PS5 Digital vs PS5 Disc vs Xbox Series X vs Xbox Series S vs Switch vs Switch Lite vs Switch OLED vs PC!
To start Gaming in 2022 do we NEED to choose between the Xbox Series X vs PS5 vs Switch (or PC)?
2021 was rough, COVID and scalpers continue to screw us over keeping a large percentage of gamers from being able to get a console. It also has kept a lot of families from starting a new hobby or upgrading their hobby to the new generation.
But does it matter what console you buy in 2022?
Is the hardware that much difference between the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5?
Is the Switch OLED a worthy upgrade from the original Switch or Switch Lite?
Does the Xbox Series S hold its weight against the other big three consoles?
Is PC still the most powerful gaming setup out there?
The Nintendo Switch is the top-selling platform in 2021 for a reason, but it might not be right for everyone.
And behind it all PC gaming has flourished but not without its own terrible launches. Not to mention I still need to address the Quest 2 and mobile platform gaming in general.
Scalpers might be making it difficult to get a new console but is it worth it to spend the extra money right now? Are the new consoles worth the upgrade? Should we just let Xbox Series X vs PS5 play out through the spring and pick one up later in 2022?
