That would be my Saturn. I could easily have made a video on my Odyssey2/Videopac for the exact same reason. Back then kids put the latter down for it not being Atari2600-worthy.

The Saturn was sort of a blotch-job as it had 3D added in very late in the game. The hardware design of the console was so difficult that developers had a hard time using it properly.
A lot of people talked bad about the Saturn and said Sony's Playstation was much more superior. Well I ended up getting one of these grey Sony machines too and honesty compels me to say that indeed I played that even more. Still the Saturn is very dear to me still. Perhaps because it is somewhat of an underdog in the 32bit 3D console corner....
