I haven't played a Contra game in awhile. Contra Shattered Soldier returns to it's roots with the same old school formula. It's super punishing as usual but this time Konami added a grading system based on enemies killed and the amount of times you died in a level. This means even with infinite lives you still have to play well to see all the stages. The weapon system has also changed giving you access to 3 types with the ability to charge your shots. I had a blast playing this coop and learning all the boss fights. It never get's old.
