Find Dylan
From Central Executive, go to the elevator and travel down to Containment. Walk through the corridors until you come across a bunch of enemies, followed by a door to Logistics & Security with even more foes. Clear all these out and there'll be a Control Point for you to cleanse.
Head towards the Panopticon area next, which is up to the north, and take out the first set of Hiss Guards that are in your way. Next up are a lot of Hiss Distorted which go down easily, but they can deal a lot of damage if you're not careful. Especially with their ranged attack.
Follow the signs for Security and you'll be on the way to Panopticon, then once you interact with the terminal in the middle of the security room, pull the motel cord three times again. For this puzzle, you need to go into the only open room, then leave and ring the bell at reception. Now go into the room at the end, flip the painting upside down, and ring the bell again. Then go back in the first room, pick up the key, and once again go into the room at the opposite end and pull the cord three times.
Run across the walkway and speak to Frederick Langston to initiate a cutscene and see if he can help you find Dylan. Afterwards, leave through the now open door to the Panopticon and claim the Control Point before crossing all the way to Section 04, taking a right turn, then using the elevator at the end to reach the fourth floor.
Subdue the Benicoff TV Object of Power - 4th Floor
At the top, you'll find a bloke staring at a refrigerator on the right-hand side. Talking to him will activate the Fridge Duty quest, but we're not here for that right now. Walk on a bit more to claim another Control Point, then a bit further after that you'll hear gunshots from the walkway. Go and help the Rangers by killing all the enemies around there.
Reach the other side to find Fortified Unit 716, the location of the Benicoff TV Object of Power. Interact with it at the end and it will transform the environment into an alternate reality. Push forward and there'll be a bunch of hanging Hiss to deal with, including a boss fight.
Salvador boss fight
Salvador is the head of security and has a bunch of goons to deal with but like most boss fights in this Control walkthrough, he's not that difficult. Use Launch to fling debris at him and take down his shield, then I'd recommend using the Charge weapon form to deal serious damage to him when he's vulnerable. Take cover whenever he's dealing damage back, don't forget about the normal enemies, and Salvador shouldn't be too much of a struggle. Cleanse the Benicoff TV to be taken to another tutorial area for the Levitate ability, followed by returning to reality.
Search for Dylan in the maximum security cells - 5th Floor
Use Levitate to fly forward and through the hole in the wall, then kill the Hiss enemies that appear in the next section, followed by the few enemies in the Panopticon itself. Levitate will get you up to the fifth floor without needing an elevator, then run towards the large swan at one end.
Take a right turn and follow it to Section 04 at the end, where you'll find a blaring alarm by the P6 Cell. Go inside and let the door close, then the door on the opposite side will open. Head through to the sound of Pope's voice to initiate a cutscene.
Control was one of the first games released to take advantage of real-time ray tracing built into the hardware of newer video cards. In addition to Hope, further voice work and live-action footage is provided by James McCaffrey, Matthew Porretta, and Martti Suosalo, while the band Poets of the Fall provided additional music. The game was released in August 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A cloud-based version for the Nintendo Switch was released in October 2020. The versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S were released in February 2021.
