Today I have uploaded a video of my explaining breifly how to convert maps from Quake 3 for Quake Live and then how to upload them to the steam workshop. Pretty sure this would work for other games that allow workshop content but obviously would use a different "Appid" hope this helps someone.

They say practise makes you a better player but I guess I hit my peak many years ago because I'm slowly getting worse :( , although to be fair I don't play that often any more. Not like the countless sleepless nights I used to have years ago.

For me and many of my friends we have played many games over the years Unreal Tournament all versions, all of the Battlefield Series but nothing has ever come close to the way Quake makes you feel when you play and get that awesome air rocket or an incredible rail shot..
