Bad Omen is a status effect that causes a raid to appear when an afflicted player enters a village.
But how can you reliably trigger this effect in your Minecraft world.
By converting a Pillager Outpost into a Bad Omen Farm.

This is by far, one of the most dangerous builds I have done in Minecraft. I recorded the entire build in survival, but due to bad lighting (sorry), I had to recreate this. While recording the survival version, I must have died 10 or more times. If you are doing this in survival, keep in mind as you go higher up, the pillager spawn increases. In my case, it increased so much they killed my army of Iron Golems and that left me with an army of angry pillagers chasing me.

Once you get over the danger, this farm can be very rewarding, especially when paired with my upcoming Raid Farm. I did try combining the 2, but the raid spawn was way too slow.

For this build you will need the following (that should be it if I counted correctly) ...

527 Building blocks (9 stacks is a safe bet, I used glass)
76 Magma Blocks
76 Walls
25 Trap doors
12 Gates
50 Glass Panes
