17You gotta love copyright law -- another month, another copyright strike issue to be aware of. This time featuring the DELTARUNE OST!!
I put EVERYTHING on hold -- literally I was in the middle of editing a Chapter 3 video -- to get this out here. Keep in mind, THIS IS ONLY MY PERSPECTIVE -- I more than likely DO NOT have the full story, and it's very well there could be things that haven't come to light yet that shed more light on the story.
But simply put, there are various YouTubers who keep getting, at best, hit with a simple Content ID match for even Let's Plays of Deltarune, and at worst, LOSING THEIR ENTIRE CHANNEL due to copyright strike takedowns being filed against their video.
No exaggerations here, folks -- I was literally chatting with a DELTARUNE fan on Twitter earlier today who was afraid to post a song parody of a DELTARUNE song out of fear of getting hit with copyright strikes and possibly even losing their channel!
Let's check things out and see what might be going on shall we? As a reminder, DO NOT harass, threaten, stalk, or otherwise cause harm/discomfort to ANYONE discussed in this video. Remember, ALL the facts might not be out yet, so before we go casting final judgment let's wait 'til the chips fall into place.
