3Yes, this did actually happen. Be wary whenever you upload music that you don't own! Especially if it's Undertale or Deltarune it seems like.
I know I did a video on this already, but I felt that 25 minutes was A BIT of an ask for folks wanting to get a quick rundown, so here's a video that's roughly 1/3 of that original one that cuts to the chase a lot quicker.
As a reminder, *this is only from my perspective/view/information*. It's very well that I missed something or that there's A LOT more to this story than is publicly available. Also, DO NOT harass/stalk/threaten/intimidate/etc. anyone talked about in this video.
Even if you want to "voice discontent" with Materia Collective, do so IN A RESPECTABLE MANNER. Keep in mind that Materia Collective is in their legal right to have videos removed that are just OST reuploads. The main issue I have here isn't the legality, but the way in which they went about doing this, and the way MC seems all too content to try to pass the buck to YouTube.
That's not to say YouTube is...the easiest...to work with, but I HIGHLY doubt this is a "this is all one thing's fault!" situation like MC is trying to say.
I have been trying to see if there's any developments, but as if this video, I haven't seen any yet.
