Corpse Party - Book of Shadows (Pt 6): Going After a Runaway Ayumi, Neo Gains Unexpected Company
[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Still in the middle of Yoshiki recounting his travels through Heavenly Host to Ayumi, Neosekken continues to explore the school as both the young man himself and his companion, Ayumi. They run into a ghost of a child along the way that they had to flee from, and they decide to hide in the custodian's closet. Unfortunately for both Yoshiki and Neo, Ayumi apparently becomes possessed by the lingering thoughts and emotions of the various ghosts who died within the school and runs off somewhere before Yoshiki could do anything. The ghost of a young teenage girl then shows up (a ghost you'll recognize if you're familiar with the events of "Corpse Party: Blood Covered") and explains what is happening to Ayumi to Yoshiki as well as giving him some information on how Ayumi's spiritual talents could prove useful in escaping Heavenly Host. After parting ways with the ghost girl, Yoshiki goes after Ayumi... which brings everyone back to the present, with Yoshiki having encountered Mayu while searching for Ayumi.
After hearing of Yoshiki's tale, Mayu and Yoshiki agree to work together to try and find Ayumi and anyone else from Class 2-9 they can find along the way. The two resume searching the corpse-ridden halls, going wherever Neo feels like directing them to... until eventually, they all encounter an unexpected character, bound and gagged in the pool locker room: Nana Ogasawara. Neo works to free her, and upon doing so and learning about how Nana got separated from her three companions (a tale Neo is already pretty familiar with after the events of "Blood Covered".), Yoshiki and Mayu agree to take Nana with them on their journey through the school, bringing their number up to three. With this newest development, Neo finally begins to feel somewhat more optimistic over the situation everyone is trapped in - that is, as long as none of them later go on to do something lethally stupid, and considering everything he's experienced with Corpse Party as a series up to this point Neo is not disregarding the possibility of that happening anytime soon...
