It's not too bad. The double jumping can be a bit clunky, but, possibly you can get around that by holding the jump button down the second time earlier while you are in the air. Your respawn on dying can set you back a long way sometimes. Unfortunately I got stuck in a room at the end of this video and couldn't find a way out which turns me off from the game completely.
