Cosmere Community Fundraiser with Open Books in Chicago - September 16th 2017
Welcome to the formal announcement of the 2017 Cosmere Community Charity drive! As fans of Brandon Sanderson, we hope to get together to help share the love of reading with others. We have come together to plan a live stream charity drive where we raise money for the non-profit organization called Open Books.
The Cosmere Community Event will be held on September 16th, 2017. The first event will start at 9:00 A.M. EST and will go until 1:00 A.M. early the next morning.
For more information about Open Books, please visit their website here: http://www.open-books.org/
Open Books is a volunteer based organization that seeks to enrich the lives of children and teens with reading enrichment and easy access to books for those who struggle to find books at home. With two bookstores in Chicago, the Open Books staff uses the resources they receive to provide reading programs, creative writing, and free books to those who need it.
Thanks to Curtis Shaw Flagg and the Open Books staff for providing the interview and footage for this official announcement.
