In this video, I'm doing a Tubers High Score Challenge video of a game that was picked by me and I considered as one of my favorite underrated gems that I enjoyed since last year. That game is: Cosmo Gang: The Video for the Arcade. This game was developed and published by Namco, it was released for the Arcade in 1991, it was released in Japan and North America. This game was also released for the Super Famicom a year later in 1992, but it was only released in Japan. Cosmo Gang: The Video is a gallery/fixed shooter that has the same gameplay as Galaxian or Galaga, but with some funny, cute creatures that make some squeaky sounds if you shoot them. You can get some power-ups, like: if you shoot the enemy: Bakuto (one of the sunglasses-wearing, ship-flying Cosmo Gangers), then he's saying: "Oh no!" and if you shoot him again, then he will say: "I give up!", you get the double shot weapon. There are some upgrades as well, like for example: collecting multiplier to get some extra points, in Gang 12 and later stages, you can pick up a yellow flag, which gives you an extra life and other weapons that comes in handy to defeat those aliens. The challenging stages are the real challenge in this game, because you have to shoot the aliens back at the beginning in 24 seconds, before they get the boxes and pull them to start. If you complete the challenging stage in 24 seconds, you get some extra bonus points. If you're not complete the challenging stage, you get some low points. After you complete Gang 12/Stage 12, the challenging stage changes random in which challenging themed stage you get: the Western theme or the Ninja theme. About my run on this game, I did a lot better than I expected, because I reached so far with only 1 credit, before I have no lives left. Overall, this game is really fun.
