There are quite a number of stipulations though........

For one, CS:GO runs a much newer version of the venerable Source engine, and features quite a bit of graphics upgrades, like full dynamic shadowing, making it more demanding that any Source game before it by a long shot.

I also have no doubt in my mind that CS:GO and any other game would run better with Windows XP compared to Win7 or Vista when using this particular graphics card. The graphics driver is infact the last one released for WinVista, as no X1600 drivers were released for Win7.
