Grand Theft Auto V features an incredibly detailed game world, that relies heavily on textures to convey that detail to the viewer. Those textures need memory, not just video memory but system memory too.

If you're using an older GPU with only 1GB of VRAM, and you are only using 4 or 6GB of system memory, a slight upgrade may actually improve your experience if you're desperate to run high or very high textures!

In this video we show how going from 6 to 12GB of system memory made high textures on a 1GB Radeon 7750 a reality.
