In this tutorial, we'll show you how to lower your PC's temperatures with a mild undervolting procedure, which allows for significant temperature reductions on various processors, even by around 10°C.
The example is based on an AMD Ryzen 7900X, with tests showing a significant improvement in temperatures both at idle and under full load.
From boot to intense PC use, you'll experience lower temperatures, which will improve the processor's longevity and, at the same time, a quieter PC because the heatsink won't have to work too hard to keep temperatures low.
Depending on your processor, you may find documentation online, but the general suggestion is to adjust the processor voltage offset by 0.1 V. You can also try lower values and then test system stability.
