Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to craft a Thatch Building:

1. Gather Resources:
To craft the Thatch Building structures, you’ll need the following basic materials:

Thatch: You can gather this by hitting bushes, trees, or small plants.

Wood: Harvest wood from trees.

Fiber: Collect fiber from bushes or small plants.

You’ll need a decent amount of these resources to build an entire thatch structure, including walls, foundation, and roofs.

2. Craft Thatch Building Components:
After gathering resources, go to your Inventory and follow these steps:

Access Your Inventory (Tab or open the inventory from the menu).

Crafting Window: On the right side of your screen, you’ll see your crafting options.

Here’s a list of the most common Thatch Building pieces you’ll craft:

Thatch Foundation: The base of the structure. It requires:

10 Thatch

25 Wood

5 Fiber

Thatch Wall: The vertical walls of the building. Each one requires:

10 Thatch

20 Wood

5 Fiber

Thatch Ceiling (Roof): The roof of the structure. Requires:

10 Thatch

20 Wood

5 Fiber

Thatch Doorframe: For the entryway. Requires:

5 Thatch

10 Wood

3 Fiber

Thatch Door: The door for the entryway. Requires:

Thatch Window: Optional, if you want a window. Requires:

3. Building Your Thatch Structure:
Once you’ve crafted your components, you can place them in your hotbar.

Select a piece (e.g., Thatch Foundation) in your hotbar.

Position it where you want your structure to be. Green means it’s valid, red means it’s obstructed.

Press the appropriate key to place it, usually Left Click (PC).

Continue placing the Walls, Roof, Doorframe, and Door to complete your shelter.

4. Snap Points:
Thatch structures have snap points, so when you place a piece (like a wall), it will automatically snap to the foundation or other nearby parts. You can adjust placement by rotating the piece using the R key.

5. Enhancing Your Thatch Structure:
After building your thatch shelter, consider upgrading to Wood or Stone when you gather more resources, as thatch is very fragile and can be easily destroyed by predators, weather, or other players in PvP.

Tips:
Storage: Add a Storage Box and Campfire inside your shelter to store resources and cook food.

Thatch Preservation: Thatch roofs are often used to protect important structures and crafting stations until you upgrade to sturdier materials.
