During Sony's Press Conference at e3 2016, Shawn Layden revealed that Sony and Activision are going to work together to bring us a Crash Bandicoot Remaster!

To be more precise, Layden mentioned remastered from the ground up. A lot of us now assume that Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and 3 are going to get a remake. Sony and Activision are both publishers, Vicarious Visions, the one who brought us Crash Bandicoot Huge Adventure, N-Tranced and Spyro crossovers, is going to be working on this so called remaster.

What exactly is a remake? A lot of fans are worried that Activision might completely ruin the classics. A Crash Bandicoot remake, to my understanding, means that everything is kept the same except for graphics, visuals and soundtrack. we ARE NOT talking about a re-imagining, Crash Bandicoot 1,2 and 3 will not get the same treatment as Ratchet & Clank PS4.

The Crash Bandicoot ''Remaster" will arrive in 2017 according to Activision.
