Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped - 105% & All Platinum Relics - Part 2: Warp Room 2
0:00 Hang 'Em High - Crystal & Box Gem.
I prefer this theme of level to the medieval one, there's more to be aware of other than running in straight lines. On the Trampolines hold X to get the most height. On the hanging sections, don't spin and jump to grab up on to them, Crash seems to instantly let go.
IF you pause at 2:54 you'll see the Yellow Gem. Believe it or not, you can get it from here, and not have to bother with the bonus route, but you''ll need to have beaten the third boss, so you can get it earlier anyway.
3:45 Midnight Run - Crystal & Box Gem.
Obviously harder than the previous level, there's a new enemy, the layout is slightly more difficult and the dragons can do s shaped dives now. You'll also need to be charging to get the height for some of the boxes.
5:50 Midnight Run - Platinum Relic
Again you'll have to hit most of the boxes and be constantly running and jumping. Practice jumping out of the level boundary and back in to get past some enemies, it's a trick you'll need for some later Platinums. This level is rather forgiving, you'll see I missed 3 seconds worth of boxes and still scraped a Platinum
7:31 Gee Wiz - Crystal & Box Gem.
Still not hard by any means, there are now Wizards who always make me think of Runescape. They launch some kind of energy ball that tracks you for a while. They won't launch one at you once you're behind them (something that's a common theme with enemies), but the blast can still track you from behind them. The only tricky bit can be the bonus area, jumping on that box and reversing back on to safe land.
11:25 Tomb Time - Crystal
Probably the hardest set of running levels, due in part to the obstacles, and trying for Platinum Relics. Always slide on the oil for speed and if you need some extra lives, belly flop the monkies.
The flamethrower has a deceptive reach so be aware of that.
You don't actually need the Purple Gem to get the Box & Clear Gem, but like Hang 'Em High, you'll need to have beaten the third boss to spin jump around. For some reason I thought there were no boxes on the clear gem route, but I was confusing it for a later Egyptian level. An interesting thing to note is that whilst invincible, traps will stay in their open state. This applies for the men who drop the bricks, the doors, and later the water level. It applies on some other levels too.
14:53 Hog Ride - Crystal & Box Gem
I like these levels, (maybe not the fourth because it's dark) but getting a Platinum can be hard on later levels.
One trick is to wait a couple of minutes for the enemies to finish the race, using this you can get the Gem & Crystal on separate runs without bothering about the enemies. It makes the Platinum relic easier too. Winning the race isn't too hard, just learn the movements of enemies and read the signs to know when to turn.
16:40 Dingodile - Double Jump Obtained.
Probably my favourite boss, and character from the Crash Bandicoot series. That music is really good too.
You're supposed to stay on the outside and dodge fire whilst he blows a hole in his crystal defenses. Stuff that.
You can slide-jump-spin over them and hit him easily enough.
18:16 Hog Ride - Platinum Relic.
Again you can wait for the enemies about a minute or so before starting to race, but the first of these levels are easy enough that I don't bother. The trick is to maintain a wheelie from a boost pad as long as possible, so get used to that turning circle. For this level you'll need to be doing a wheelie from the first boost pad until the end, but that's easier than it sounds. You'll get first quickly and there's not a lot of hard turns or obstacles on this level.
