Crash !! ... (IL-2 Sturmovik VR on Quest streamed from a 15€/month Shadow cloud PC)
I upped the visuals by allowing dropped frames (trade off). Still very playable with setup in mind. Very impressive flight game in VR.
The Shadow cloud PC is a 1080GTX based pc with a slightly underperforming CPU. VR is streamed over fiber and 5GHz to my Quest (Virtual Desktop which does encoding/decoding). The (roundtrip) lag of 50ms is not a problem. People who think it is are wrong. IL-2 is a 'slow' game.
The Shadow PC (with VD and also OBS capturing this video) is not able to spit out native 72 fps with upped visuals. So there is a trade off to accept dropped frames which can be felt if you look for it (smooth but not butter smooth) for upped visual.
I went for upped visuals where it matters and accept dropped frames. Btw, I'm running in 60 fps VD/Quest mode. No problem with that. I think (using MSI Afterburner etc) that the Shadow produces a 45-50fps avg so that would mean 1 dropped frame every 4 frames. Doesn't matter to me.
