Create a Crafting & Inventory system in Unreal Engine 4 Pt 1: Inventory Widget & Basic pre-Setup
In this series we create an inventory and crafting system that work hand in hand with eachother perfect for any RPG, survival, or other item based game. In this first part we learn to create UMG widgets using the canvas designer to create the inventory GUI and do a bit of pre-setup in the FirstPersonCharacter using Unreal Engine 4's 1PChar template and then discuss how we will use a masterItem and masterCraft BP class for all items and crafting recipies in-game.
