Creating Realistic Rural Development in Cities Skylines 2! | MC Ep. 4
12,135Hello and welcome to Magnolia County, Superior! It feels like just yesterday that everyone in Bend was feeling positive and hopeful about the future of the community, but times are rapidly changing. Johnson Aggregates has been dragging its feet on opening its copper mines in the area, and unemployment has shot through the roof county-wide after so many hopeful people moved to the area.
All of this unemployment has County officials concerned. Will mass unemployment lead to mass crime? They don't want to find out. Because of this, they are embarking on a plan to bring new jobs to the area by offering developers and business owners incentives to move into the area.
And these incentives were wildly successful - drawing a number of new rural developments to the area, including farms, an aggregate mine, and a new forestry industry.
In this episode, we'll build the new industries that have been brought into the area. This will be the first of many rural builds, some of which may be redeveloped over time....
By the end, the city will have unemployment under control and will be making TONS of money. Enjoy!
