This should teach you the basics of how to recolor any spell effect!
What you need:
• Nifskope: the editing program used in the video.
• BSAopt: use this to extract default resources from Textures/Effects.
• Texture editing software/plugin if you want to make new tile or gradient, or edit your duplicates of vanilla ones.

0:23 Teslasphere (I was kind of fumbling how to do it so it's a bit slow here...)
14:00 Maelstrom cast effect.
21:26 Tonitrus (I had to be careful here since different gradient will also break the shape of the tornado.)
33:00 Teslasphere hit effect (shortest bit because the effect only have 1 Trishape!)

41:50 Atronach Summon FX (At 43:20 I edited NiControllerManager animation-controlled emissive color. The NiPoint3Interpolator contain Data which are keyframes for R, G, B colors.)

45:40 Atronach Cloak FX (I had to set up a new art effect in the esp so there's that too. At 50:00 there's some Vertex color editing as well.)

At around 54:00 onward I was just implementing red Shock FX shaders to the new magic effects and in general re-checking everything.

The esp that is loaded in CK in the video is a new esp that has Storm Calling Magic II .esl as master/loads after it.


I will try to do more of this type of videos in the future for more advanced things like making new stuff and things like that. Oh, and I'm writing a document about Nifskope and that will be up soon, probably!
