24Cronos: The New Dawn is a bold new survival horror from Bloober Team, blending eastern European brutalism with retro-futuristic sci-fi in a dual-era setting spanning a devastated future and 1980s Poland. Players assume the role of a timeādiving Traveler, trekking through a postapocalyptic wasteland to rescue key individuals via time rifts and extract their souls with a mysterious Harvester device. The gameās signature āMergeā mechanic forces players to incinerate fallen enemies - otherwise theyāll absorb corpses to evolve into horrifying, more powerful creatures mid-battle. Inspired by classics like Dead Space, Resident Evil, The Thing, and Dark Souls, Cronos aims for tense, old-school survival horror with limited inventory and hardened challenge modes. Coming in Fall 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, it promises a psychological and bodyhorror-rich experience built upon Bloober Teamās evolution from Silent Hill 2 and The Medium.
