Amazon's new game Crucible was off to a rough start with various launch day issues, such as the servers being down and the game not releasing at the announced time due to technical difficulties. Initially, it received a lot of negative reviews on steam, making many people wonder if Crucible is even worth playing or a bad game. In this video, we'll talk about the issues and also take a look at the most common complaints. There are various valid points of criticism such as the lack of a minimap, fps and performance issues, insufficient tutorials, lack of damage feedback and time to kill that I will try to address from the perspective of a player who has already spend 50+ hours on the game.

Crucible is a free game by Amazon and Relentless Studios which is a blend of 3rd person action game, hero shooter, moba, a little bit battle royale and capture point games. The visuals are similar to Paragon and Destiny 2 while the gameplay in one of the modes closely resembles Gigantic, also including elements of Paladins and Overwatch. Being backed by Amazon, this game has great long-term potential both as a casual and competitive game, especially due to the close connection to the livestreaming platform Twitch through Amazon. Crucible is now live and can be downloaded on Steam.
