Crucible of Games have some really fun designs. A lot of it is very 40k adjacent, but some of their designs are truly some out of left field creations, which you may know I'm a fan of.
Their first big kickstarter is for their Proserpine Shrineguard, somewhat related to their already released Proserpine Selkets. We have a link below if you want to see more about them.
I got to take a look at some preview designs of the basic shrine guard unit.
These are definitely "modeler" style models. There's no single piece options in sight, but perhaps that might be an option someday further down the road. Everything is modular, down to the hands and extra bits that can be attached to their arms. This can be tough at 25mm at times!
I'm AWFUL when it comes to attaching separate hands, arms, weapons, and torsos all together to make a cohesively posed figure. I tried my best. I'd love to see some easier to attach weapon options. Perhaps arms and gun as a single unified piece?
As more parts are unlocked and available I think I may upscale mine a tiny bit, just to give them more bulk. It's a personal preference, as they printed just perfectly support- wise at their current scale. The only issues I had was dropping tiny bits due to my gloves!
As it stands I think they'd make for an interesting force that could be used in both fantasy and scifi settings, on both sides of the morality spectrum. They could be stalwart defenders of sacred tomb worlds, or degenerate chaos worshippers. They'd work pretty well as both!
