Long play video of Crysis for Switch.

This one is a heart breaker. Crysis for Switch has the potential to be a great game. When it works, it's really fun. I played the PC version years ago and enjoyed it and was looking to relive the campaign in this era, but portable. Unfortunately, Saber Interactive/Crytek focused so much on the graphics (which are really impressive especially in portable mode. Yes, portable mode) that they didn't spend enough time on quality control and performance. The frame pacing is bad, causing the game to feel jittery at times. Why did they not turn off features, scale back graphics to get better performance is beyond me. Gyro aiming is janky feeling like Saber Interactive coded gyro to simulate an analog stick with a damn dead zone. Gyro controls are supposed to feel like mouse controls with NO dead zone. Then there are the numerous and always annoying bugs. Don't let the pretty graphics fool you, Crysis Remastered on Switch is not worth the price of admission and I highly doubt that it will ever be fixed to play respectably.

What is going on with Saber Interactive and why didn't Crytek step in when it became clear the game was in trouble? Saber were responsible for the Halo: Master Chief collection that had issues it really shouldn't have had, they're responsible for the absolute disgrace that is WWE 2K Battlegrounds that's so bad it should have never been released and then there's this bug fest of Crysis Remastered on Switch that was pushed out the door while all other versions were delayed for being sub par. Apparently, the Switch version should have been delayed too.

Publishers, if Saber Interactive is becoming unreliable, go with Panic Button. That studio rocks hard. Jeez.
