F Zero GX on PC via Dolphin/Steam
0This game brings back some great memories. F-Zero GX is still my favorite anti-gravity racing game bar none. The WipeOut series and Ballistic NG are both great and I've dumped a lot of hours into both but there isn't any other game in the genre that is better than F-Zero GX for my needs. It was also awesome to see Nintendo and Sega work together to create something so stellar after years of being bitter rivals.
This is running on a SurfaceBook 3 through Dolphin, but I have Dolphin running through Steam. "Why" some might ask. Because running Dolphin through Steam allows me to use a Steam controller with full customization support that I would otherwise not have. Dolphin has robust controller options native to the application but no Steam Controller support. Also, running F-Zero in HD with the various weather effects on certain tracks causes the game to run at less than 100% at times. Apologizes for this in advance as I'm still experimenting with best settings to run F-Zero on the SurfaceBook 3.
