Metroid Prime Hunters for PC via DeSuME
0I finished Metroid Prime Hunters on DS years ago and really liked it. The campaign wasn't as deep as the Metroid Prime Trilogy but the campaign was good for bite sized gaming on the go. The controls were really good as the stylus and second screen allowed mouse-like speed that you generally can't get with dual analog. The online multiplayer is what kept a lot of fans playing long after the campaign was completed...until the cheaters took over. When you headshot a player twice in quick succession with a high powered laser rifle and he doesn't go down, it's time to move on.
Playing the game today at higher resolutions has been a dream and shows how great the art direction was by Nintendo Software Technology, the developers behind the game. Using DeSuME, Metroid Prime Hunters runs better than it ever did on DS and to simulate the stylus controls, I'm using a Surface Pen on a SurfaceBook 3 screen. Good times.
