What's most impressive about Crysis 1 is how it starts out by being an unusually large-scale, freeform shooter...and then just keeps getting bigger and bigger for each new level. When you think the game can't possibly grow to encompass an even larger design vision, the zero-gravity level comes out of nowhere and provides a spatially complex and visually stunning take on the "I'm on an alien ship" cliche. And right after that hell freezes over, literally...
