Here's the 1st preview to a update to Crystal Caves that overhauls the gameplay side of the map. I thought to give this version 1 last attempt to try to resolve the problems the map has. This preview focuses on the middle path and the 1st 2 minutes of the map.

You might be wondering why I'm updating V4 again despite working on V5, I wanted to try to fix the issues this map had. Here's the issues V4.2 and V4.3 had.

1 - Star rating accuracy

This has been a problem since V4 release. I underrated this map heavily. I've moved it to 5.2 (Bottom-Low Crazy) as a primitive move as a response to the gameplay changes.

If I had to give V4.2 a proper rating, I'd probably move it to at least 4.9 (Peak Insane) or 5 (Baseline Crazy) due to the parkour.

2 - Long walking sections

This has been a problem since V4 release and V4.3 didn't fix this either. In fact, I kind of made the problem worse. I ended up buffing the parts that weren't walking too far and not fix the walking problem in the map (I don't know why). This update fixes most of it.

3 - Insanely long swimming sections

Currently, only the 1st one is fixed, This has been a issue since V4 release where swimming parts were over 30 seconds long, which made it drag out. Unless I wanted to redo the entire part of the map, the only fix was to add gameplay using the room layout, which thankfully worked out.

4 - Inconsistent Pacing

Crystal Caves in general has had this problem for a while (I think it started in V3), but it got worse in V4. The lava speed was a mess everywhere and it kind of made it so pacing just got slower as the player got further in the map.

This update improves the issue, but doesn't fully resolve it.

5 - Inconsistent Lighting

This was brought up on the V4.3 release video and I agree this was inconsistent. This update fixes some hard to see platforms by changing the colour of them.
