Crystal World, Dinosaur Park and Cranbourne Gardens Sat 13th June 2020
Today I visited Crystal World in the heart of Melbourne's South East. This hidden 'gem' nestled in Devon Meadows features a myriad of crystals, gems, rocks and stones and an exhibition showroom and Dinosaur Park full of amazing life like statues. Entry is free and the kids had a great time checking out the different colours and textures of the crystals plus the Dinosaur Park is always a hit with the young ones and adults alike.
Afterwards we headed to The Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne, also known as The Australian Garden. Featuring beautifully landscaped plains and attractions such as the Rockpool Waterway where kids can choose to stay just above the water or kick their shoes and dip their toes in the shallow water on a hot day.
A few of the walking tracks where unfortunately restricted but we will definitely be back to explore more at a later date. Again entry is free.
