4With the aim of replacing the T-34-85 tanks in Poland, the development of a new medium tank was carried out using the available achievements of the Soviet school of tank building and original developments. However, in 1968, the production of T-55 tanks was launched in the country, and work on its own model was curtailed. Not a single copy was made.
Combat effectiveness
At first glance, and immediately after the purchase, for 6,100,000 credits, we get a completely classic medium tank of the tenth level, which does not stand out in anything remarkable: the usual modification of the L7 gun, with the already banal alpha of 390 damage, average armor penetration, information speed, accuracy and recharge time. The overview and dynamic characteristics also do not stand out against the background of classmates, and the armor of the hull can generally be called cardboard, except that the gun mask can save classmates from sharp projectiles. The classic look of the tank, as well as the game at previous levels in the pumping branch, dictates the use of equally classic tactics of behavior in combat for medium tanks, and with this application, the CS-63 shows itself the same as its classmates - neither better nor worse. So why do we need another banal medium tank in this game? But wait, it's not that simple...
Having retrained the crew and equipped the tank, we go into the first battle, and already when counting down to the battle, we notice a small rotating impeller in a circle on the right under the sight, looking ahead, it is from this icon that our game on this tank will take place. It is only necessary to press the gas pedal, as the tank abruptly takes off and with unexpected speed, overtaking all classmates, almost the first breaks into the key positions of the frame. Also, a huge circle of the spread of the gun will catch your eye, which, when you turn the tower and the hull, becomes gigantic at all, you can't hit the enemy tank right away even from a short distance, and even if you stop, you will still be surprised by an extremely long time of information. All this show is accompanied by the whistle of the turbine. So what's the matter, a beginner will ask. And the whole point is in this icon of the impeller at gunpoint. Turbo is the main feature of CS-63. And according to the standard, it is only necessary to go into battle, the tank has a high-speed mode. Which, however, can be switched to normal by pressing the X key, but at the beginning of the battle it is not worth doing, because then you will lose the main advantage of the tank - the high speed of taking positions.
Turbo mode gives a lot of tactical opportunities, allowing you to be among the first to occupy key positions on the map. The only competitor from classmates is Leopard 1, which has the same maximum, but Leo's engine power-to-weight ratio is lower, because the German will lose in a one-on-one race. Why, our tank is capable of outfitting a lot of light vehicles, and when assembled at speed, it can generally be outstripped only by wheeled tanks! Very commendable dynamics, which can be used throughout the battle without fear of damaging the engine, because turbo is not a consumable. Positions such as the mountain on Malinovka, Prokhorovka or Himmelsdorf will be among the first to deal with you. But you should not get into trouble with such dynamics - without the support of allies, such a rush can end very badly for you. Therefore, you still need to slow down at least sometimes, waiting for more staid allies who will support you in battle. In turbo mode, our tank turns into a light one, at the cost of a large spread, long information and mediocre disguise. Apparently, the column of smoke and the noise of the turbine really unmasks our car. Arriving at the front line, it is worth switching to normal mode, this is achieved by stopping completely and occurs in two seconds. After switching, we get the most classic ST with the L7 gun - with typical characteristics for it. Also, the tank ceases to please us with hurricane dynamics, but it becomes a more inconspicuous unit, it reduces better and shoots more accurately.
In normal mode, it is worth using the most standard tactics, which, due to the versatility of the tank, will show themselves well. It is worth switching to the high-speed mode to change the position or, if necessary, twist the opponent. With such dynamics, not only crazy PT, but also some heavy tanks are subject to us. But it's worth remembering that in high-speed mode, the gun becomes oblique, and it becomes quite easy to get into strong places, or even miss.
