CS:GO: Who gets the assist?
10,532...The answer is me! Every time. Me me me me me. Seriously though, how do these mysterious 'assists' work?
Sorry if it looks like I only tested these things once. I did them enough times to make the chances of me wrong VERY VERY small.
Apologies for the weird video. I made it, realised it was about 15 seconds long and felt bad releasing something so short, so I added a Rube Goldberg machine and some terrifying imagery and made it into something bigger.
0:00 - At least 41 damage needed for assist
0:03 - Two people doing assist amounts of damage?
0:10 - Two people doing same amount of assist damage? (Skippable)
1:07 - Conclusion
If one person hurts the other player but only does a small amount of damage, then a second does assist amounts of damage and then the first also does, who gets the assist? It's the first! https://youtu.be/HlbqE893S8c
