Later on, I finally saw a northbound freight train coming my way. As it got closer to me, I saw Amtrak Silver Star #91's headlight coming south. Meets are cool, but sometimes they get my mind racing as to how to capture both trains. Northbound freight train Q438 made it to Ashland first. It had a Boxcar Logo GEVO and an AC4400CW on the head end. Nothing special. But at least the leader was another Tier 4. Aside from the fact that I heard its horn earlier, it's just in my nature to guess what common engines lead. If I know a CSX train is coming on the RF&P sub, I guess it's a GEVO leading. If an NS train is coming on any NS route, I guess the leader is a Dash 9. I only assume the leaders based on my personal knowledge and experience. As the freight passed, I knew the Amtrak would be blocked. Actually, it didn't turn out as bad as I thought. The locomotive number was a bit difficult to make out, but when I checked back at the video, I found out it was #20. Anyways, these 2 trains would be the last trains I would see for the day until it got dark. Be prepared for a dead period....
