After a while of waiting, the Herzog ballast train FINALLY departs Doswell on its trip south. Even with a GEVO on the lead, it's still not bad for a catch. I rarely see ballast trains. Heck the last time I remember catching a ballast train on the RF&P sub was in October 2014. It had a Boxcar Logo GEVO leading with a doublet of standard cab leased EMDs trailing. After this train left sight of my camera, they switched from Track 3 to Track 2. Enjoy!
