to me, cupid is one of the least interesting kpop songs i’ve heard in a long time. not bad, but definitely not anywhere above average. the whole song is pretty much just one note and doesn’t hit me in the same way it seems to hit everyone else. i feel the concept has been executed better in the past, which leaves me feeling very underwhelmed with cupid. also the “cupid is so dumb” lyric makes me cringe so hard

with songs going for the concept that cupid is going for, i usually tend to prefer some kind of climax somewhere… but there really doesn’t seem to one in cupid. that’s the main dealbreaker for me, along with some lyrics as previously mentioned. the song is just very repetitive throughout and doesn’t really go anywhere.
