Next week will be the "double" episode... Cold Case's footage is FIVE HOURS OF RAW FOOTAGE... and that is going to take A LONG time to edit... you guys will hear all about my opinion on that map when that video comes out...

Gunkanjima
Pros
+Well designed and detail
+Dynamic Weather changes
+Huge area
Cons
-Some lighting issues (might be fixed by now)
-Very easy to get lost
-Supplies seem to be sparse
Final Verdict
89/100
It is a well designed map, and the gimmick of the time of day and weather changing while the map is still going is a first as far as I know... The map is highly detailed and looks great... and the size of the map does make the whole experience much better...
However that same size makes it hard to make your way back to the start... the lack of supplies I could find made exploration a pointless endeavor when the best stockpile is right at your feet...

Till death do us part
Pros
+Well designed Swamp map
+Good amount of supplies
+Has nostalgia value for those that recognize what it is based off of (Hitman Blood Money I think... not too sure...)
Cons
-Some serious lag issues once the round starts
-The cramped nature of the boardwalk and buildings can quickly become death traps (not a true con)
Final Verdict
89/100
The map is very well designed and very well detailed... as far as swamp theme is concerned, the author nailed it... But while it looks good, it doesn't necessarily play good... the lag is pretty intense (possibly more so than White prison)... and the buildings aren't really designed for "quick escaping" in mind... making it a horrible strategy to use the buildings...
This map is one of those cases where the gameplay wasn't as focused on as the looks were...

Ice Howl
Pros
+Fantastic Detailing for the snow
+Custom textures for the models and a screen overlay as well
+Plenty of supplies and multiple stockpile areas
+Day and Night version... exactly the same gameplay wise
+Dynamic weather
Cons
-Impossible to not get lost once you have explored
-Far edges have a blatant invisible wall
Final Verdict
95/100
One of the best snow map I think I have ever played personally... it goes beyond the usual standards of snow maps... giving every prop a nex texture, even a screen overlay to emphasize the cold... There are supplies everywhere to help force you to move once you are swamped...
The only cons I can truly complain about is how easy it is to get lost... there are next to nothing separating this area from that area... no landamrks to help guide the players... and this it the ONE map that could really use a glowing radio... That aside the map plays very well...

State of Emergency
Pros
+Well designed house
+Four floors
+Reminiscent of Blood Harvest
+Some custom models
Cons
-Generic House map...
Final Verdict
90/100
It plays nicely... well detailed and designed... good amount of supplies and has some quick escape areas when they are needed... but being of said genre of map... it has absolutely no memorability what so ever... it is unfortunate that it works like that... but if I can't remember the map after playing it an hour so or ago... then that is a serious problem...

Nothing Lasts
Pros
+Very gameplay focused
+Supplies everywhere
+Routes everywhere for survivors and infected
Cons
-Aesthetics are bland
Final Verdict
95/100
While "Till death do us part" was more focused on looks and not gameplay... This map has the opposite problem... It plays absolutely great... everything about it seems balanced gameplay wise... plenty of places to run and hide... but the detailing is few and far between... which does not concern me much as long as the map plays great...
