My current mod set-ups are still changing slightly... won't be a constant for a while... Also, there were several maps that didn't make it into this week's episode for a multitude of reasons... One of them was a single map campaign... which was actually pretty good from what I saw... another kept crashing my game... one of them was just too awful to not have in a barrel episode...

Was able to settle on a some high quality survival maps... most of them anyway...

Tropical Holdout

Pros
+ Custom models
+ Well made
+ Variations for light if wanted
+ Well stocked
+ Good Navigation

Cons
- Some visual glitches (not that important)

Final Verdict
97/100

This is a gem that past over me... and I am glad I found it...
It is very well made on most every front... feels like it could use some polish here and there... but gameplay wise... it is spot on...

Rev's Heaven

Pros
+ Unique and creative
+ One way spawns
+ Custom assets
+ Well stocked

Cons
- Was not percent in this play through as much... but there are some navigational issues
- Kind of "meh" for heaven (personal tastes)

As always... Rev makes some great "unique" maps... and also as usual... it is a 'One spawn" type of map...

While I do like it a lot... it kind of feels bland... that and there are some issues, though none occurred while recording... still a great map...

Ghost Town

Pros
+ Big
+ Well stocked, and well spread out
+ Looks decent

Cons
- WAY to defensible from the start area
- Huge lines of sight make surviving way to easy

Very expansive... so many areas to explore... but in it;'s expansiveness lying it's flaw... it is way too damn easy to last forever... the only reason I even died so early on is because I was starting to get bored...

it is well made... but gameplay is sub-par at best...

Aces High

Pros
+ Well made
+ Difficulty is well balanced
+ Custom assets
+ Great visuals
+ Alarm stops fairly early

One of my favorite survival maps... it is not that special, no... but it just plays great... not too easy, nor too hard... great visuals and gameplay... options on where to go... I can't praise this map enough... but I can't give it a perfect score... just feels wrong to call it perfect...

This map is still fantastic... and should be downloaded ASAP...

Sleep with the Fishes

Pros
+ LOTS of well made custom assets
+ Supplies are spread out
+ Huge area
+ Fish move faster when their tank is shot... TAKE THAT COD!
+ Well made

Cons
- Easy to get lost
- Might get lost looking for the radio

Final Verdict
95/100

A fairly old gem... with advanced fish AI that swims away from bullets.. :3
While it is easy to get lost in the same nature of the arena... it is still a great experience... and the visuals and far above par... not even including the custom assets...

(I would go more indepth into all of these maps... but I do have a character limit... and these survival map episodes always seem to push it...)
