It's back.
With a little bit of magic to my Wii U, I got my hands on version 1.0.6 (NOT the current V1.1.6 sorry)
This version is famous for allowing custom inheritance to any character including DLC Mewtwo who cannot even learn custom moves.

The 3DS copy of Smash had to be v1.0.6 because if it was using the current v1.1.6, it would give me an error message on my Wii U.

Load times are much faster because the game is installed to my SSD, which is limited to USB 2.0 speeds at most but is still faster than Wii U's 32GB flash drive.
