Custom Sword Tournament 2 Development Progress - Shop Design
This new shop design uses a concept I call Reactive Design, which essentially means that each button had a unique reaction to being hovered over.
Examples within this clip are:
- The Sword Builder button tracks the user's mouse position on the button to give slightly different viewing angles
- The Templates button shows a full 360 degree view of the models when you hover over it
- The materials button rotates the cubes (You may notice that it lets you see the Forcefield effect a bit better, which is an added bonus)
The system also operates based on a tiered viewing system, meaning you can go back as many layers of the menu as you want. This improves over the old system which only let you go back one layer at a time.
All of the swords used in the menu were created by SharpSteeI.

Also, I really, REALLY want to finish this game before Christmas, however I'm not sure if I have enough time left before then to finish everything. If I don't finish it by then, it should come out within the next few weeks after that depending on how much work is left to do.
Thanks for your continued support of the game, it keeps me motivated to continue working and I know that together we can make this game special. It wouldn't be Custom Sword Tournament without the custom swords, after all.
