One day in the yarn world, on the island of the Yoshi's, Kamek came flying by and started turning all the yarn-Yoshi's into yarnballs and took them with him. But he missed two of them, the green and the red Yoshi. Now it's up to those two to follow Kamek and rescue their yarn-friends. On the way they will collect beads and pieces of yarn-Yoshi's that Kamek has dropped. But what does Kamek want with the yoshi-yarn? What is his evil plan?
I've never played a Yoshi-game before (unless you count trying 2-3 levels in Yoshi's Story at a friends house as a kid), so this will be a new type of gaming experience for me! What I do know is that Yoshi-games usually aren't that difficult and are more exploration-based platformers, as opposed to Mario, which tends to be timed. I've always liked Yoshi as a character though, ever since I first saw him in Super Smash Bros. and other N64-games he was in. And this yarn-aesthetic is the cutest thing I've ever seen!
