This is not a traditional unboxing video. It is not made with expensive camera or in studio. I just bought a new UPS (Universal Power Source) for myself and decided to share with you some information about it.
This is CyberPower BR1000ELCD UPS. The most important keywords here:
- Capacity: 1000VA / 600W

Input:
------
- Nominal Voltage: 230 Vac ± 10%
- Frequency: 50 / 60 Hz ± 5Hz

Output:
-------
- Waveform: Simulated Sine Wave
- Voltage: 230Vac ± 10%
- Frequency: 50 / 60 ± 1%
- Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR): Yes
- Outlet Type: Schuko x 8 or FR x 8
- USB Charging Port: 1 [5V 1A]

Battery:
--------
- Type: Sealed Lead-Acid
- Typical Recharge Time: 8 Hours

Management:
-----------
- Power Management Software: PowerPanel Personal Edition

Physical Size:
--------------
- Dimension (WxHxD) [mm]: 166 x 118 x 288
- Weight [kg]: 6.5

Package Contents:
-----------------
- Product User Manual (EN / FR / DE / IT / ES / RO / HR / GR)
- USB Cable
- Phone Cable
- Cable Collector

Unpacking is really easy, there are no complicated things. Just take it out of the box, plug in the power cable, the USB cable for management, the consumers and that's it. There is a red reset button on the left side.

To power on the UPS press the POWER button for a couple of seconds, until the LCD screen turns on. You can switch between the shown information (input voltage, output voltage, consumers, running time, battery charge) by pressing the DISPLAY button. The LCD screen will turn off after 60+10 seconds (after 60 seconds it removes the information from the screen, but the backlight remains on for 10 more seconds).

The length of the included cables:
- USB cable: 120 cm
- power cable: 160 cm
- phone cable: 179 cm

It came from the factory with the battery charged to 92%. After plugging in my PC (monitor, tower, headphones, phone charger), the consumption (capacity) was around 12%. When it is fully charged, it estimates around 35 minutes when editing video (with CPU usage around 30%). When playing computer games, this time reduces to around 10 minutes. Actually, that's enough time if the power failure is just for a fraction of a time, but if it is a longer failure, you still have plenty of time to save your work and shut down the computer.

The video was made with a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro.
