What's it like for UK soldiers in Cyprus' buffer zone in the dead of night?

They've patrolled it as part of a UN peacekeeping mission, since the end of the conflict in Cyprus in 1974.

Nearly half a century of rust and dust have built up in the strip that splits the world's last divided capital.
