Great Gigabit Ethernet Switch!
Great gigabit ethernet switch! It works flawlessly. It is surprisingly small yet heavy indicating it is well built. The LEDs are bright. I love D-LINK port status LEDs as they show the connected devices' speed (i.e amber = 10/100 Mbps vs green = 1000 Mbps) compared to other products that have a separate LED (two per port) to indicate 1000 Mbps. It runs quietly (no fan) and stays cool to the touch. My network had many daisy-chained 5 and 8 port switches. I've replaced them all with this 24-port switch and noticed an immediate improvement in performance on my network due to less store and forward hops. I've rack mounted the unit below my ethernet patch panel and used 1 foot slimrun cat6a cables for a cleaner look. I definitely recommend this product.
