หนึ่งในความหวังของผมสำหรับงาน E3 2018 ที่พึ่งผ่านไปนั้นก็คือ From Software จะมาประกาศเกม Armored Core ภาคใหม่ซะทีหลังจากปล่อยเกาะซีรี่ย์นี้แล้วหนีไปทำเกม Soulborne อยู่ซะนาน แม้ผลงานเปิดตัวล่าสุดของ FromSoft จะห่างจากคำว่าผิดหวังอยู่ไกลโข ด้วยเกมอย่าง SEKIRO (Shadow die twice) และ Deracine ดูน่าสนใจและกลายเป็นที่จับตารอคอยของเกมเมอร์หลายคน อย่างไรก็ตามเหมือน Nintendo จะรู้ใจดลบันดาลเปิดตัวเกมแรกบน Nintendo Direct E3 2018 อย่าง Daemon X Machina เกมหุ่นเหล็กหน้าตาละม้ายคล้ายกับ Armored Core แล้วก็พัฒนาและกำกับดูแลโดยทีมงานเกม Armored Core ภาคก่อนๆด้วย
