Dampening The Sound! - Taking Apart Mechanical Keyboard - Installing O-Rings (Live)
Mechanical Keyboards are pretty loud usually, and mine is no exception. I'm rocking a Corsair Vengeance K65 Gaming Keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches. It's not the loudest thing in the world (I don't have blue switches or anything), but it's loud enough to be annoying when recording videos. That's why I've grabbed some o-rings from WASD keyboards to install in my keycaps, to dampen the sound of my mechanical keyboard - hopefully meaning the microphone doesn't pick up the sound so much anymore.

You can also get the key cap puller tool if you need it. It's very helpful, and way better than trying a DIY removal method that may mess up your switches. It's a $7 peace-of-mind purchase: http://amzn.to/2pyAaoS
Hope you enjoyed hanging out with me! :)
